In the last few decades, the word bioethics has been gaining prominence in western societies, but the myth that in the sciences, knowledge is sought by itself unrelated to the market economy persists as well. The history of the sciences has shown that it is not true that the discourse of material prosperity resulting from their production would bring peace and freedom to man; the very access to to their products is evidence that this is not the case. Bioethics brought the perception that human presence should not be secondary. Nevertheless, bioethics needs to understand that economic issues, through instrumental reason, are giving meaning to life, what is harmful to the most vulnerable. In this regard, becoming aware of the bubble of human relations in which everyone is involved is a decisive step towards beneficial change, as well as protecting and expanding the social control system of research.
